Radiated Immunity Testing
Keeping Working in an RF Field
Radiated immunity (IEC 61000-4-3) checks that a product keeps working when bathed in an RF field — from nearby transmitters, radios and phones. This course covers the field/frequency/modulation, the chamber setup, how RF couples into victim circuits, and how to harden inputs, cables, grounding and firmware. It complements the Radiated Emissions and Pre-Compliance courses.
Core Modules
Work through these 8 modules in order. Each builds toward the capstone.
Prerequisites
Foundational electronics, analog signal chains, and PCB layout, plus familiarity with the radiated-emissions test. Many RI fixes are the mirror image of emissions fixes.
